Bringing Russia to Life: Highlights from RusFest 2026 | SSVM

On 30th January, SSVM Mettupalayam proudly hosted RusFest 2026, a vibrant cultural celebration that brought the soul of Russia to our campus through the expressive power of dance and storytelling. The event was presented in **two special sessions—fore-noon and afternoon—**ensuring that a larger audience of students and faculty could partake in this enriching cultural experience.

Over the years, the Russian Cultural Team has played a significant role in fostering global awareness and cultural appreciation among our students. The 2026 edition stood out as particularly special, featuring a largely new ensemble of performers who introduced a fresh theme infused with youthful energy, creative expression, and a broader international outlook.

The celebration unfolded as a captivating cultural journey—beginning with the lively rhythms of Kalinka, followed by the graceful storytelling of Young Mlada, the poise of classical ballet, the fiery passion of Flamenco – Farruca, and culminating in a powerful unifying finale titled RUSSIA. Each performance beautifully reflected values of discipline, harmony, and international friendship, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed it.
