Care, Caution & Compassion in Concert: Life-Saving Lessons in Action | SSVM

To strengthen safety awareness and emergency readiness, SSVM Institutions, Mettupalayam, conducted a First Aid Orientation Session for middle school teachers on 30 October 2025.

Led by Dr. Rukmani, along with Staff Nurses Ms. Menaka and Ms. Thamarai, the session equipped teachers with essential first aid skills from treating minor injuries to performing CPR, the ultimate life-saving technique.

Teachers learned to respond swiftly to fractures, fits, burns, and fainting, while also understanding the importance of maintaining a stocked First Aid Kit and following school emergency protocols. The session was an eye-opener reinforcing that preparedness, presence of mind, and compassion can make all the difference in critical moments.
