SSVM’s Scholarly Sojourn: From Classrooms to Carbon Craftsmanship

The Grade 9 students of SSVM, Mettupalayam stepped beyond textbooks and embarked on an intellectually enriching industrial visit to Krishnaveni Carbon Products, Karumathampatti – Unit IV.

Received with gracious hospitality, the visit unfolded through a thoughtfully curated presentation followed by a guided plant tour. Students explored the organisation’s journey, its genesis, growth, global operations, challenges, and milestones, before observing the intricate processes of carbon manufacturing firsthand. The visit offered a rare, first-hand glimpse into industrial systems, transforming classroom concepts into tangible learning.
